Fall Memories

We're back!  There have been some technical difficulties and crazy schedules around here of late, but we are excited to do some more-regular posting here on the blog.  Check back in the coming days for lots of new posts, including a giveaway, daily life photos and stories, maybe some recipes and a guest post by the parents etc.  And while we're on the subject of possible post topics, what would you like to see on the blog in the coming weeks?  Leave us a comment with your ideas!

We have been loving pears and apples of late!  They surely do make for some yummy cookin'; we're been enjoying stewed apples, apple cake, apple danish bars, apple pie, dried apples, pear puffed pancake, apple pancakes, etc.

The boys helped can pears one day.

Our fall donut-making party resulted in lots of yumminess and fun, as usual.  (Click here for our donut recipe.)

I'm tellin' ya, this boy can put away the donuts.  Wait, he actually eats a-whole-lot of any type of food!  How I love cooking for him and the other hungry men around here!
